Warrior Tartan in Casual Model
I don't know if I'll ever figure out how to get a good color picture of this beautiful tartan. Its purple, black, and white.
I was wearing it last night on a visit to Hopi Hospital with my lady and a paramedic built like a defensive end just lit up and said, "What a beautiful kilt! What tartan is that?" Explained it was a fashion tartan and where to get one but he seemed more appreciative than a prospect. Tell you what though, it does attract positive attention.
Pictures were taken on Third Mesa looking East over to Second Mesa. Why Worry Be Hopi t-shirt is from Tsakurshovi on Second Mesa...sorry, no web addy. You have to stop by to buy one. The store has photos of folks wearing them all around the world.

Ron,
No offense meant but I have seen the Warrior tartan in person and it is just wonderful, but somehow it never seems to photograph well. Kind of strange and too bad as it is really striking.
I wear the purple based "Heritage of Scotland" and I get more compliments on it than all my other tartans combined.
Must be a purple thing
Cheers

I envy you all that can wear purple without it looking too... purple.

From the looks of that tartan it seems like it would photograph much better indoors with using a flash. Very dark colors tend to blend together in sunlit photos.

I enjoy mine. Only problems, are as mentioned, its hard to photograph accurately and you need to know what you're doing when you wear it - the color coordination part.
