Who is up for a little friendly competition?
So I was thinking (uh-oh!). We spend so much time on here getting tips and pointers on how to wear the kilt and then post photos on what we come up with. What if we had a competition to see who can look the best in a kilt? It can be an annual thing! Choose a category (formal, semi-formal, casual, etc.), submit your photo, then have the community choose the best of each category. Maybe we should say that you can only enter one category?
Well, what do you guys think? You ready to show your best side?
p.s. - DON'T call it a fashion show.
p.p.s. - Can we not let Hamish or Ancienne Alliance enter?

Nice idea. But I can already think of some of the top pics.. McMurdo.. Panache.. Ancienne Alliance.. Hamish..
And Riverkilt for "best supporting background". Sometimes I have a hard time spotting him in front of those beautiful Arizona scenes.

I think the XLadies should be the judges.
What say the rest of you lasses?

I would like to volunteer my services to assist you in what could be a tough and arduous task.

I'm sure someone's suggested this already -- sorry; I still haven't pawed through every single thread yet -- but how about "Lads and Lasses of XMarks" wall calendar? Proceeds could go to the care and feeding of the site.
Not that this should preclude a competition of any kind, of course....

I was thinking that same thing.
I'm up for this. Let's do it! It could be fun!

The pure play value, man! It's like a virtual bonnie knees contest! With no indecent exposure... I hope!

Or here's another idea- we could pick a theme, such as the thing that Captain Morgan is doing with their pose off competition. Best drunken sea captain, most likely to impale himself with a sword, that kind of thing! Maybe not a best kind of thing- a "who can show us who's having the most kilted" kind of thing. "Hey, look at the fish hook that stuck in my rump today!" That kind of thing. That would certainly level the playing field a bit.
