Something the Field mouse dragged in...

And further down the rabbit hole, this time the field mouse in the teapot said:

While perusing SWK's the other day, while thinking about what would go well with several other pieces I own, I saw this and had to have it. It is the SWK standard weight Irish Saffron. Wore it to church and got quite a few comments; mostly as to why it was not a Tartan. Stopped at Lowe's to get some stuff to work in the yard , the guy who was at the check out got into a long discussion about Irish Vs Scottish Kilts, said he;d love to wear one to work, but Lowe's donna allow it!

The dog's name is Kaiser, his real name is much to long to recite, so we call him by his first name. I really need to find some one to take these shots besides my wife, she thinks one snap is sufficient, then back to the house

Nice looking offspring! Mine wont be seen anywhere near when I'm kilted. Just shakes his head and mumbles. Nice to see someone who actually has hair! Mine was lost to the genetic war; recently found a picture of my Great Grand father (maternal) big old beard, bald as a que ball, in what looks like a full dress kilt and Prince Charlie.....they say insanity does run in families..... if I can get my scanner up I'll post a copy.

    Thumbs up

That's a good looking German Shepard you have there! When I was a kid we had one named Kaiser as well.

Nice! ...so what is your kid's problem with the kilt? Oh, and by the way, I meant to mention that you have a beautiful Shepherd. I used to have one named Rufus. That dog was dumb as a brick... I miss him.

His main malfunction was I thought of it!! first That and he is 17, so anything the old mad does is suspect. At 17 I was an ultra macho idiot who rode bulls, saddle broncs and bull dogged, he at least is sane enough to limit it to Mixed Martial Arts and Snowboarding.

I too had a dog named Rufus and (wait for it) his brother Rastus! they too were dumb as rocks, but sweet. This one is almost too smart, he was a rescue animal, and is very protective. My wife takes him walking on the ditch bank and never has a problem, gee I wonder why. He's the one I have to worry about getting kilt checked by, wet nose uhgg!

i was pondering the SWK Saffy as well, i plan to buy a SWK after Xmas. It will probably be the black shadow tartan, and the saffy will soon follow.

Its great to see it off their web site, different lighting and such.

Dude, she is like a little clone of her mother. It's amazing- and a little freightening, considering the fact that her mother is actually insane...
