Thumbs up Texas Renn Fest Highland Weekend

Well I was pretty sick most of last week with some kind of flu-like crap, so my big 2 day camping weekend at TRF sort of got cut down to a day trip on Saturday. It was pretty chilly that morning, and everyone said it went into the 30s Sat. night so it's just as well I passed on the camping!
    Anyhow, here's a couple of photo's:

Here's My friend Sandy, myself and one my Renfaire forum friends.
Not sure, but I think the guy behind us might be the chief of clan McTablecloth.

Since I try not to go anywhere without a bunch of women, here's the crew; Andrea, Sandy's sis (I forgot her name), Sandy, and Shelley(Mrs.Zardoz)

Looks good even if you were a little under the weather.

    Nice way to travel.

I'm sorry I missed seeing you, Shelley, and your friends, Zardoz. I did go with some HHGA friends, four of which were camping. We headed back to their camp around dusk and had hot coffee and snacks near their campfire. We waited for the big bonfire, but by 9:00pm we had had enough and left without seeing the big flames.

You missed out on the bonniest knees contest! Proudly, I was not in the first group culled by the ladies. I think that made me a semi-semi-finalist.

Sorry I missed meeting more members but we were in shopping mode. I wore the x-marks tartan as an advertisement for any members who I might run across. Trifin snagged me and my wife for a brief introduction in one of the clothes establishments. Overall, a great day for the Scottish fling. I wanted to see the knees contest but without a schedule we were kinda lost. Nice pics Zardoz and I like your entourage.

    Thumbs up

Thanks guys, I'm sorry I didn't see any of you, but there were over 30,000 faire goers on Saturday, sure was a lot of people! Next year we will have to organize a meeting place or something.
