Christmas Party at work.

Last night was the Company Christmas blowout. It was held at a local catering company here in town. the place was packed. I was apprehensive about wearing my kilt. I have been working at the company for 2 months and only two people there had seen me in the kilt. Well, I was shocked by the reception I was given when I walked into the hall. The comments were all very positive. No one made any crude remarks. So many people came by the table or stopped me in the hall and started conversations about scottish heritage. I think I need to start a scottish heritage group within the company. I'll call it Clan Knorr. One guy says he has a kilt but his wife won't let him wear it. I had a short talk with her and changed her mind about kilts. What a great evening. It was the most fun that I have ever had at a company party. Can't wait for next year. Hey....I even won a tv in the door prizes. I will try to post pictures. Lots were taken but not by me.

General approval of your workplace, a TV door prize and converting a kilt disaproving wife - sounds like you had a visit from your fairy godmother and had three wishes.

I'll bet the guy with the disapproving wife thinks of you as the hairy Godfather!
