New Kilt Thursday, first public outing Saturday.

This is a pretty big week for me. My first kilt arrived on Thursday. I wore it around the house a bit to get a feel for it. Then we hosted a family Christmas, and I thought, it's time to debut it. After every one left, we walked over to the closest pub. I was naturally a bit nervous, but I just feigned extreme confidence and it went over really well. Everyone wanted to get a good look at it. It was just the sort of debut I needed! Anyhow, here's a pic....

Well since you didn't provide a shot of the pleats, we gotta know-Box pleat; knife pleats and is it pleated to the sett or to stripe (if so, which color)?

The confidence that you had to muster up on this trip will soon be replaced by the real confidence that comes from/with kilt wearing. congratulations on making that first nervous trip out of the house. The more you wear your kilt out the more confident and comfortable you will be come.
