Scottish Gaelic - Help???
Ladies and Gents
I have an odd request and apologies it is not Kilt related but maybe if you are able to help you could please PM me so we dont go off topic on the forum??
I am looking for a person who can help me structure up a couple of phrases in Gaelic for my Wedding speech, more particularly my opening welcome lines, this may sound odd but it is something I am quite keen to do.
I can not find any books in local book stores on the language and reference material i have been able to find on line is good albeit very confusing for a non Gaelic speaker with no tuition.
If anybody can spare me a little of their time over the next few days to help a dummie I would be ever greatful!!
Happy New Year
Regards
Bosco

Internet is full of site that can assist you, however the pronounciation is slightly tricky and you may need to practise with some native speakers, and or take some lessons.
Dymocks, and borders have them but they are fairly rare.
I snap them up when i can find them

I only know Irish, but if you PM Arlen, I know he has studied Scottish Gaelic in the past.

Here is a link to a fantastic Scots Gaelic source called 'Beag air Bheag' (little by little). http://www.bbc.co.uk/scotland/alba/f...eag_air_bheag/
Should give you a right good start!
