Franklin, NC, Burns Supper
My wife and I just returned from the annual Robert Burns dinner hosted by the Friends of the Scottish Tartans Museum. Thought I'd share a pic of the two of us dressed for the occasion.

Wonderful photo of you both, Matt, I absolutely love the way you ties the Victorian shirt into the outfit, excellent waistcoat and hose as well.

Thanks, Glen. I recently purchased this shirt from The Gentleman's Emporium. I really like it. It has a subtle white-on-white paisley pattern in the cloth, which drew a lot of compliments, but does not really show in the picture.
The waistcoat and hose are both my wife's handiwork. I married well!

I remember talking about it over on scotattire, I thought this must be the shirt we were discussing, it really turned out well.

Thanks, she made that, as well. If you are on Ravelry, I think she has info on it there. There is actually a subtle tartan pattern to it, but it is such an open design you can barely make it out.
