What a wonderful place
Just thought I would drop a line about how great this forum really is.
Where else could I have contact with like minded folks from places as close as Denver, Rio Rancho and Page, Az. to places as far away as the UK, Australia, India, Pakistan or even Sweden and Norway?
I have learned more than I ever thought possible about all sorts of things, for example; 1921 Highland court dress, or how to pleat a Great Kilt, or what color hose, or even the mundane whether or not to wear a hat with a PC! And I have so much more to learn.
This is a great place, and I thank you all for your postings, your interest and most of all your support. I know that when I need a laugh all I have to do is find a post from one of my friends, and if I need a piece of advice I know exactly where to find it; I have made a list of places that you have gone, that I now want to see, of Tartans I must have, and people I must meet.
I raise a glass to you! May your travels be easy, your hearths warm and your endeavors prosperous. Thank you all.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

I agree wholeheartedly. This place is phenomenal; rarely have I seen a group so friendly.
