St. Patrick's Day ~ Franklin, Tennessee

Here are a few shots of Penny and Me enjoying the Irish weather.
I am pictured here wearing the horsehair sporran from the early
1800's. We had a grand time with friends at the pub later. Saw
total of about 10 Kilts, and sorry we didn't get to bump into
HeathBar and his wife. Hope you enjoy the pics!

Here is a link for Franklin Transit Authority

The website may give you a wee bit more info about parking. If you are staying near or in Franklin, this transit would be a SAFE alternative to driving!

I just set up a new social group for those of us in Middle Tennessee. I've called it Mid Tenn Kilties. I also started a thread here on the kilt night forum.

I sent an email off to the Historic Franklin Info about parking. The public transportation they are offering is for those who live in Franklin and don't want to drink and drive. At least that is how I read it.

Ok, Mates.. St. Patrick's Celebration in Franklin, TN is only two days away and the weatherman promises a wee bit of good Scottish Weather...so come out anyway!!! Wool keeps you warm when wet and dries quickly. I'll be there all kilted up. Have put together a great kilted costume of sorts for that day to honor my Navy military Grandfathers who served in WWII.
