    London Fog Overcoat

I found and bought a classic looking, tan London Fog overcoat at a Good Will type store this afternoon
. I always wanted an overcoat like this. It has a zip-out thermal lining, which I probably won't need to use often, and comes down to about my knees. The outside shell is all cotton, and it looks to be in new condition.

It was six dollars because they were trying to get rid of all the winter clothing. So... that takes care of that.

Great find. My son wears mine now that I'm not the same size I was 20 odd years ago. Perhapse I'll head over to our Salvation Army store to see if they have any.

Good luck with that; hope you find one.

This one really does look like it is almost new. It's big enough that I could wear it over a suit jacket without any problems. With the lining in it, it is probably blizard proof, too.

It's kind of neat that the pockets, which are quite roomy, have an opening behind them that also goes through the zip-out lining, so that you can reach into your jacket pocket without unbuttoning the overcoat. That might be standard on most overcoats though.

Yes, I should get the traditional gray fedora. I do have the gray canvas, Indiana Joans looking hat, though, that should go well with it.

What a great buy. I had forgotten my London Fog... it was a great coat, but outgrown and handed down years ago. Enjoy!

I bought mine new when I was about 19 years old.

It still fits and still looks great, they are made to last.

    A good find Ted
