My first tweed kilt - Made for my Wife

I bought this tweed about 6 months ago.
I was planning on making me a kilt out of it and thought I had enough to make one for the wife too.
Well, I decided to do hers first.
I was going to box pleat it.
She had gone to the Scottish Heritage Festival last month with me and decided she liked the looks of the small pleats (Traditional type kilts) better.
So, now she has a gorgeous new tweed kilt, and I have to order more material.
    Absolutely worth it though.
It turned out beautifully, and I am now going to order enough to do one for me exactly the same.

    That little rat is Zoey.
If you notice on the right, there is a beady eye staring at you from the couch.
That is my fat little buddy, Kong.
