Wasnt it Harry Enfield, or the team from Little Britian that exclaimed "Redheads have no souls", or words to that effect. (it was comedy gold I assure you)

My son is "strawberry blonde", hopefully it will fall to the browner side soon, it must be my fault as I get a bit of "mange" in my beard fairly regularly...
