    Fathers' Day Celebration in July!

My daughter (a 29-year-old attorney) made arrangements at O'Doherty's Irish Grill for a small gift card to be given to me. Being away for a couple of weeks it was only on July 3 that I was able to get there. Actually Mrs. Kiltman and I were out looking for sponsors for the Spokane Highland Games and O'Doherty in downtown Spokane always support celtic activities. At any rate, while we were there we got the gift card and had dinner. Those of us who live in this area are fortunate in the breath and activity of the Celtic community. So, here's a picture of me, my card and a Guinness.

If you live anywhere near Spokane don't forget the Spokane Highland Games is on August 1, 2009 at the Spokane Fair Grounds.

An empty glass in one hand, and the means to refill it in the other. A kilted Yin and Yang. Congrats!

And which tartan is that you're wearing? It's very nice.

County Cavan and Irish tartan. I really like the look of the Irish tartans.

One of my favorites too - Polly Wittering designed a whole series of awesome Irish county tartans.

The smile, the glass and the tartan are nice, BUT WOW that is a Sporran. Could fit a baseball glove in that. Me like!!!

Thanks for the comment about the sporran. It's muskrat, the pelt was given to me by a member of the Spokane Tribe and I made it into a sporran about four or five years ago. It's the sporran that get the most use.
