How many kilts do you "need?"
First off, I'm not a full-time kilt wearer. Likely will not be in the forseeable future. But as a mental exercise I began thinking of how many kilts I'd need if I were to go that route.
If I were to show up several days per week in the same (or identical) garments, I'm certain my colleagues would soon begin to question my hygiene and/or sanity. Obviously one cannot wear the same clothes everyday!
I suspect that the requisite number for a full-time kiltie is somewhere in the 9-10 range. (This is where it gets fun..Promise!!)
So, if you were to decide, today, that your goal was to be kilted on all possible occasions, what kilts would you need? (Let the fantasizing begin!)

I've got 18 and have worn one daily for 3 years, I think perhaps with some research and careful purchases you could get away with 10 for daily wear. Though really most people only need one. I suppose the right answer for someone like myself may well be just one more.

When I was a young man, I was put in a position on many an occasion, were I was wearing the wrong clothing. It was done purely to make me look stupid in front of my peers. Once I in the financial position to do so, I vowed I would never be sartorially challenged again.
If necessary I can do white tie, black tie, morning suit, suits for weddings, funerals, office and entertaining. I have all sorts of slacks, flannels and trousers. Finally there are all the jeans and shorts. I wear the right cloths on the right occasion.
I would double the number of kilts to 20. 1 would never be enough.
Regards
Chas
