    Remember this old kid's show?

Sssoooo, Menace and I were watching cartoons this morning with Wee Bitty when we started remiscing about the shows we watched when we were kids. There were the Smurfs, Fraggle Rock, David the Gnome, Under the Umbrella Tree, The Gummie Bears, Tail Spin, Magellan, Lamb Chops, The Flying Circus, Speed Racer, The Snorks, Rainbow Bright, and a few others. There was one that we both could barely remember and certainly can't remember the name and it is absolutely driving us crazy!!! The beginning of the show showed a man with a guitar walking to the forrest. (I think) He would play his guitar and sing in the forrest with a bunch of little furry puppet friends. That's all either of us can remember. It probably aired in the late 80's to early 90's. Can any of you help us out?

"Fred Penner's Place" maybe... That's passed my time, though.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

As a Canadian, growing up in the 60's and 70's my favourites were The Friendly Giant and Mr. Dress Up and of course Tiny Talent Time.

Having grown up on the north side of the Detroit/Windsor border, I remember them well too. Another CBC classic was Chez Helene.

Seventies and early eighties for me. I remember "Super Chicken," and "George of the Jungle," "Bell and Sebastian," etc. All the old cartoons; those were what I liked. Nickelodian had a bunch of stuff in the early eighties.

Yes, I remember them well, right along with a bunch of older TV shows.

Grizly Atoms, F Troup, Bananza, The Beverly Hillbillies, and on and on...
