Six Nations Kilt and Scott Porage Oats
Scotts have introduced a new packaging brand for their front cover, The first major packaging change since 1955 which featured the kilted shot-putter.
This advertising campaign will promote the partnership between the Scottish Rugby Union's 6 nations tournament and the Scotts brand.
the design will feature Scotish Rugby internationalists in their new 6 Nations shirt and kilt.
It certainly seems to be quite impactful and will stimulate interest from kilt wearers and potential kilt wearers as well as those who admire rugby players in kilts

I saw this in the metro.
New cover looks great!
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

I would imagine that there is a six nations tartan, if that is it on the cover, it looks quite good

Chas, thanks for your help on this, I was not familiar with The Scottish Rugby Tartan but as you say it is a good looking tartan, very attractive.
I will have to get a kilt in this tartan, possibly may get one in Glasgow

Awww--I saw 6 nations and thought about the Iriquois lacrosse team whose colors are yellow, black and purple. That would have been a really wierd kilt. But, I could see it working with an eagle in the pleats.
Nice looking tartan, nonetheless...gotta like the blue and green tartans!

Funny enough I thought the same thing!
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

You know, I love Rugby and Scotts Porage Oats and I really like this idea. But I hope it's just a temporary thing. I grew up being told to eat my Porage if I wanted to be like the Scotts Porage Oats man and I'd be sad to see him go permanently.
