Tartan Day Celebration Murfreesboro,TN
Hopefully Spring will be in full swing (minus the rain) on April 10th, because that is the date of the Tartan Day celebration in Murfreesboro, TN. Activities will take place from 1PM to 6PM around the historic square. And the best part of this is that it is FREE.
I will be there with my setup for Clan Barclay. There will be a few other clans there. Last year there were 7 or 8.
This is likely to be the only event in middle TN so come on out.

I'll have to add that to my calendar.
Is there a website with more details?

I will say that they mention vendors. Now don't expect vendors of highland merchandise. Its not a big enough event to draw them in. It will likely be food vendors.

Bump! This is just two weeks from tomorrow (Saturday). April 10th 1PM-6PM, Murfreesboro city square. There will likely be plenty of parking around the square and in the parking garage below the library, one block from the square. If you need directions, just let me know.

We'd love to see you. But don't expect anything on the size of a games. Last year there were 6 or 7 clan tents and one society. No Scottish vendors. The only musical entertainment was a brand new celtic cover band. I just want to fully prepare you for what to expect. I don't know right now if I can make an after event gathering. The budget for eating out is rather tight right now. Let me know if you do come and maybe we can come up with something.
