Kilted Tartan Army in Glasgow now
So here I am at work today while a few of my mates are in town (Glasgow) preparing for tonight's match against the Czech Republic in a friendly match.
Would,nt it be good to be in some pub, kilted and discusing the team tactics for this important friendly?
But hopefully later on I will get the kilt on and join the masses in Glasgow.
Events like these is where it is beneficial to wear the cheap Lidl kilt in case of some damage occurring while under the influence

That is very true, Jimmy! I don't own any cheap kilts anymore, so I'll be wearing one of my better ones... probably my Campbell Ancient (the only one you've seen me in!) due to the colours. After all my other ones are ancient red (orangey), solid green (wearing it to Dropkick Murphys!), my Auld Lang Syne is currently getting adjusted and my newest is a little too good to wear to a football match!
I'll see you tonight

Something along those lines, although I can say "see you, Jimmy" when saying bye to Jimmy tonight, if that would make you happy

Wow, the game was great.
I saw a hellllllllllll of a lot of PV kilts worn incorrectly, and lots of glengarries with 3-10 feathers in them, but nevertheless it was an incredible result. At times I thought we would have lost easily, but we dominated for 20minutes and thoughroly deserved the goal! I havent jumped about so much in a kilt before... since the ceilidh on Saturday

congrats to all Scotland supporters for the good result!
Hopefully Scotland will get its house in order and eventually qualify for the 2014 World Cup.
Who do Scots support for the 2010 World Cup? Not the English, I would suppose.
I'm really looking forward to the England v USA match.

Great to hear the match was a good one. I can remember being in a small pub in Scotland in 1998? when scotland played brazil in the world cup. The town was deserted, the pub was as rowdy as could be

Craig Levein got the team off to a good start but the Czech Republic have major problems in front of goals, in the first half if they had finishers, they would have dismantled Scotland but with the introduction of Hartley in the second half, Scotland turned it around.
Anyway its good that so many kilts were seen in the city before and after the game. The Tartan Army is a sight to see en masse with their wild attire and various homemade kilts, sometimes i think that some of them just grab their granny's tartan shawl for these outings but as you know young people look good in anything
