Chicago's Celtic Fest is fast approaching - two weeks. It's in Millennium Park at the lakefront in downtown Chicago.

Anybody planning to go?

This event has normally been in September. The new schedule is the result of city budget cuts.

Hmmm, turns out that this California boy is going to be in Chicago next weekend. Sunday is looking like a real possibility...

What the heck happened to the Xmarks I used to know? Where's the spirit? Where's the guts, huh? This could be the greatest weekend of our lives, but you're gonna let it be the worst. Auld Argonian we ARE deathly afraid of hanging out with you. We take our very lives into our hands when we do. Nevertheless it seems we are foolhardy beings who are willing to risk all to bask in your exalted presence.

I think it's going to be a somewhat ad hoc group this year. By scheduling it on Mother's Day weekend, they are likely to have a much smaller crowd than usual.
