    Thanks for the notice, Brian. I'll have to see if I can get that Saturday off.
    Will you be there this year?

    Brian: We have another event, already committed, for that weekend. However, few of us are trying to rearrange schedules so we can make the Sept. gig at Niagara. We do Fort Ti the weekend before and Brandywine Creek the weekend after....AND end of July we are up at Fort George for large British Brigade event. Lots of traveling!! Malcolm

    I've yet to make Culloden though it remains an optional event for my group. Not this year, but perhaps next year...

    I won't be able to make the May Ontario event. I'll be recovering from up-coming hernia surgery.

    Definitely planning on the Sept. event, though...!

    Brian,

    A speedy and painless recovery on your surgery.

    What is the September event you and Malcolm are referring to?

    Things are not boding well for the Spring event. The "Camerons" are going to be without their piper. I'm scheduled for surgery (arthroscopic) on my right knee on the 12th, and my left on a date to be determined by how fast the right heals.
    Do you know if the Fall event is definitely going to be at Niagara? I had heard LaPresentation as a possible location, but that's all I've heard so far. I saw in the latest Smoke and Fire that the "Friends of Ft Ontario" were going to be hosting events as a private corporation. It would be nice to head back up there, always a good time at that site.
    Sir William, the Fall event is usually titled "I am come Home". In the past it's been held on Labor Day weekend, although I believe it may move further into the month this year. It's been held at Ft Ontario, and been an excellent event (albeit small) every time.

    Thanks.

    I wouldn't be able to make the Labor Day weekend - I'll be hosting a clan tent at the Virginia Scottish Games. But if its moved to a later date, it might be an option to consider.

    Brian;

    I've enjoyed photos from prior re-enactments held in upstate NY. I look forward to any pictures related to this upcoming event.

    Brian - the "Tall Ships Erie" is the week before Olcott, so period (or near-period) vessels may be handy.
