    TArtan designer software

    Hello all,
I was trying to use the Tartan designer software at the Scottish Tartans Authority and I don't knkow what I'm doing wrong. I was trying to recreate the McCarthy, Old Tartan #4049. I input everything listed in the thread count but the sett came out too big. I deleted the last three lines of thread counts and it came out perfect.

    Y4 DG48 DB14 DR52 DB14 DR52 DB14 DG48 (too big)
    Y4 DG48 DB14 DR52 DB14 (just right)

    Thanks.

Aye- You put in a whole repeat of the tartan (less the extra yellow pivot), the first time. Yellow4 and dark blue14 are the two pivots- the points about which the tartan mirrors itself.
