Brrr! Its Snowing!
Whatever happened to the myth of global warming.
We had a frost here last night and now its almost lunchtime and although the temperature has got slightly above freezing, its snowing outside. Although the Highlands get lots of snow its unusual to see it this far south this late in the spring and there are still some deep patches of winter snow on the surrounding hills. Those daffodils which used to bloom in March are only now flowering, and I still need my heating on in the house. Come on its May, its Highland Games season, why isn't the weather warming up?

We had a frost warning here in Southern New England the past few evenings...but for the past couple weeks it's been in the 80's (F) and sunny. I prefer to use the phrase "global climate change" as opposed to "global warming". But I don't mean to open that can of worms. As we say around here, "Don't like the weather? Wait five minutes!"

Upper Wisconsin had 5" of snow. Here in PA, we have no snow, but it's cold and the wind is kicking up like crazy...going on three days now. I'm tired of severe wind. Enough already!

In Eastern Ontario we've now had more snow in May than we did in March. Enough about global warming, let us return to the big scare of previous decades, The Coming (AKA, The Returning) Ice Age!

We're in for cooling temps, rain and then snow tomorrow. It is supposed to be 6-10" and, they say, melting all day.

Spent last Saturday evening at a private party on board the Midway in San Diego harbor. Clear skies and shirtsleeve weather at 9:30 p.m. for the fireworks show, but this morning our heater kicked on for the first time in nearly a month!

Pretty balmy day here in the BC interior (about 15 C) but very windy. Winter was really mild and spring has been cooler than usual...I think it's actually global averaging that's going on![Laughing](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

I'm in Terrace, British Columbia (far north of the province, near the coast/Alaska border) -- surrounded by snow-covered mountains, but the valley itself is in full spring. Bliss!
