Grandfather Mountain Highland Games

Tonight, I made my camping reservations on the mountain for Grandfather Mountain Highland Games. Who is planning to attend? Who else is camping? I need my rest, so I'll be in the 11 PM curfew area. Yeah, I do plan to throw some marshmallows!

I will be there again this year, going ta tie the camara ta me kilt belt just ta be sure we don't have a repeat of last year.
Hope ta see a lot of Xmarkers there again.
Has anyone posted up the dates yet?

The games are July 8 - 10.

I'm hoping my son will accompany me this year, he will be 13 in June, and he has only been to a few local games. I will drive up on Thursday arriving late in the after noon.

Ken hope ya make it safely looking forward ta seeing ya again. We will have ta make plans for our meet up place at the games. Hope ta see lots of XMarkers there again!

Looking forward to seeing you Rodger. I'll also be getting up there some time Thursday. I'm sure there'll be a strong XMarks contingent!

I'll be there all weekend with my son and the Montreat pipe band. If we schedule a meetup please try not to have it around noon as that is when I have to feed a bunch of hungry pipers, drummers, spouses, and other assorted hangers-on and ne'er-do-wells.

Would 2 pm each day work for a meet-up time? That hour should avoid the lunch lines, and give those coming in the afternoon time to get there. A clan tent would be a better site than the STM tent, since there are usualy hordes of people gathered around it. Any ideas?
