Size For Men's Plaid Brooch

What is the typical size plaid brooch for a men's belted plaid? Is 2" too small a diameter?

2 inches is kinda on the small size. I'd suggest 3-inches (about 7.5cm) -- maybe a tad more --would be nearer the mark if you are of average stature.

Thanks MoR. I thought 2" may be too small, technically it is (the one I am looking at) 55mm which I think is just over 2". I was trying to get a match to one of my sporrans.

Found a very close match to my sporran recently that was more than 3" (Would have been perfect) but alas I did not have the funds. Work has slowed down considerably for me and I really have no business shopping at the moment

This brooch however, is almost a perfect match asthetically but is obviously too small.
