Two Men's Rooms at Four Corners
![](http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff147/riverkilt/Utilikilts%20Brown%20Leather/FourCornerspotty.jpg)
Soooo wonderful that the Navajo and Ute Nations have recognized kilted men and provided restrooms for kilted men as well as the regular men's room.

So, for the first time ever, I get to use the Kilted Men's Room!

And here's the obligatory Four Corners pic. The place where Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona all meet. There was talk a couple years ago that the location was a couple miles off but the monument folks contend their location is accurate and the four states involved officially agree.....I think...

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

The monument looks a lot nicer than it did two summers ago when I was there. Thanks for the shots, Ron. Were there any other kilties in the reserved restroom?

Woodsheal’s cartoon about sums it up!
But I imagine Ron was mainly scouting Four Corners out for the suggestion that was made of having folk wearing the tartans of the four states at that cross-mark.
I look forward to seeing the pictures from that exercise.

Actually, the suggestion was that we all wear our state tartans, and then stand in the wrong states! I'm up for that!

That was exactly what I had in mind.
And don’t forget to have guys wearing both the New Mexico tartans (not in NM).

Aye, they've fixed it up. Not the old ramshackle wood ramadas of yesteryear. Place was closed this spring for remodeling and they are still working on some very nice looking stone vendor's booths (visible in the background), and two elevated picture taking venues (one is visible behind me). Gonna be very nice when finished...guess its all that casino money rolling in from the Ute and Navajo casinos.
I was the lone ranger in the kilted gent's restroom.
The kilt did get a LOT of comment from the vendors - but they are a very social lot, quick to grab on to any friendly "hook" to get you to see their wares.
Irony of the location is that the Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico sides of the intersection are all Navajo reservation and the Colorado side is Ute reservation. The Four Corners is on Indian land within all four states.
