I'll be in attendance on Friday night (wearing the saffron kilt), then onto the Highland Games in Ligonier on Saturday (Robertson ancient kilt).

Celtic weekend, oh my!!

My plan was to ride the bus from Oakland to the Festival on Friday, and possibly, depending on how much work I have to do and how close the buses will get me, attend the Ligonier Highland Games on Saturday.

The only kilt I have is about two or three inches short and a little wide, so I'll unfortunately have to wear pants or shorts 'til I can barter for a better-fitting kilt.

If you can make it to Ligonier, Xmembers will meet at the Clan Claus tent right after the welcoming ceremonies, which will be held at noon. Group pictures, and hugs!!! LOL

If I can get a kilt, I'll make extra effort to get there. Otherwise, I'd probably be the only kiltless guy messing up the picture.

EDIT:

I'll be working the Irish Festival all three days, so I'm going to have to miss the Games (again...). On the plus side, I'll be getting a Utilikilt at the Festival.
