    Help identifying a tartan

    Hello everyone,

    Can anyone help me identify the following tartan? If it is indeed one!

    Thank you in advance!

    It's Maple Leaf, an asymmetric tartan designed by David Weiser in 1964.

    It is said to have been made for the Canadian firm Highland Queen in anticipation of the centenary of Confederation status in 1867.

    Thank you for the answer, Figheadair.

    Seems a little paradoxical;
    You in Perth knew the answer, and me now in Canada and didn't!!
    What is more, (and worse!)...........I wore that very tartan, (borrowed kilt) for my first ever Burns night bash!
    I think possibly the photo is a bit walshy, and may have thrown me off. (Excuses!)

    Thanks again,

    Richard.
