First Kilt ordered
Hello, to the kilted world.
I am a total newbie to this. I spent about two weeks researching the ins and outs of kilts after deciding I wanted to buy one, and still managed to make a snap decision on a maker. I ordered a lochcarron 16oz wool kilt in my clan tartan to be made buy a maker in Massachusettes that was at the festival in Goshen Connecticut this past weekend. Going to be a long wait.
Any how I am a novice homebrewer and vintner and I recently started with the pipe chanter.

from Ithaca, NY! Since you're a brewer and vintner you should be well practiced at the waiting game. Doesn't make a bit easier but you know all about the sweetness at the end of the wait.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

So far, it sounds like wise choices. I assume you went with a 8yd rather than a 4yd?
