After having driven from Charleston, SC, to Louisville, KY, to visit my brother and family before Thanksgiving, I was leaving to drive to Cincinnati, OH, to see my oldest son. On the way out of town, I decided I needed a cup of Starbucks for the road.
As I stood in line waiting to order, I looked around the store and saw a gentlemen sitting with a fairly large group that looked like they were definitely enjoying each other's company. A closer look led me to think they were related. Then, to my complete surprise, I noticed the gentleman at the head of the table looked just like the photos posted by JSFMACLJR.
After getting the coffee, I venture over and gently inquired as to whether it was indeed Sandy. A pleasant surprise when he answered yes. We exchanged a few minutes of conversation (mostly me trying to assure him I wasn't stalking him) and ventured on my way to Cincy.
An unexpected pleasure and reaffirmation blessings come in very simple ways…….Happy Thanksgiving to all and to all a good night! Oh wait, that is another holiday…..never mind!
