High Recommendations for SOLAS

I have two of their CD's and saw them last year at Berkeleys Freight and Salvage. WOW...what a band.

Solas is one of the better bands to come out of Ireland. I put them at the top of my list along wit Clannad.

If you're ever in Evanston IL on a Sunday or Wednesday, go the Tommy Nevins pub. John Williams, a founding member of Solas, leads a craic'n good open seisiun there.

Oh, I have several CD albums by Solas. They are great and remind me of a defunct Irish band called Deanta.
