    David's jacket conversion thread?

I have used the search function to try to locate this one but it isn't turning up...

Does anyone have the link to the jacket conversion thread that David Dalglish posted a couple of years back? There were a couple of tricks in that one that I wanted to review while I'm working on shortening a jacket.

    Thanks...

I didn't try to find it on the forum but I happen to have it in PDF. PM me your email and I'll send it to you.

Thanks...I did have a flash of memory and looked under "all posts by David" and found it!

...thanks for the offer, though, Cavscout! It was that trick of using the binding to help smooth out the curve that I was looking for.

Good deal. I took that set of instructions and a ton of pictures to a alteration shop to have them do a mod for me a few years ago. Good luck with the project

Funny as I HAVE two jackets that David modified. I happened to be in Scotland when David brought two jackets that had shrunk in the closet to Ferintosh. Well they fit me so they came back to the US with me.

He does GOOD work. Thanks again David.
