For all you puzzle and riddle nuts. Check it out! It's a group you can join EITHER via invitation from an existing member, OR by solving one of their weekly problems... I just came across this site today. It's quite fun, really. The link to the site is hidden in the code above. ith:
Enjoy!

(FWIW, I am using the same alias for my membership on that site too in case anyone wants a bit of friendly competition.

Not clever enough for that lot!

Don't feel bad for using the hints. If you read M's intro, he says quite specifically that his intention is NOT to stump people -- because if it were, he would! Then, next to no one would be able to solve the problems.
The hints are there so normal people -- those of us who aren't hardcore about this sort of thing can do it too.
Currently I'm working on the musical notes problem in the archives... I haven't figured it out yet and I DON'T want to use the clues on that one.

I only needed 2 hints on that one, or rather, the second hint.

Although I can understand the explainations, I can't see the answer from the original puzzles.
I had no problem translating either the letters as number or the morse code - once I realised it was morse code, but solving the problems just didn't happen for me.

"Life is hard---------it is even harder if you are stupid."
'nuff said there. ![Confused](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif)
I did manage the "Old McDonald" one without any hints, but then I tried the music one and bombed even with all 3 hints.
Then I gave up.
