Thanks again! Everything is hand sewn and braided, although I would like to eventually get a machine to do the basic stitching.

may I ask please, what the pin locks were listed as? I am looking for some to make a casual sporran but cannot find any

Thanks! I went with brass hardware since the pin lock was brass. I normally would go with white metal on black, but I really like the look of the antiqued brass.

Thanks! They were listed as "SIX LEATHER PURSE OR BREIF CASE LOCKS NEVER USED", go figure?! I hadn't seen them before or since on eBay. I uaually troll the leathercraft section and stumbled across the listing. I had hoped that their package would give a clue to their origin but when I received them they were in a generic baggy! No labels, nothin'. I've searched the internet with no success in finding a source.If I ever find a source I will share!
