    Albannach and Seven Nations!

I can die happy now... This was by far the coolest thing I have ever seen. Albannach and Seven Nations were scheduled to play the same stage at the Colorado Irish Festival. Not only did they play the same stage, the mighty 'Nach joined 7N on stage for several songs!

Aiya playing the bass drum like a bodhran! It was an all-drum performance, with him, Colin, and 7N's new drummer!

And Jackie sang along with Kirk for All You People, which is in truth my least favorite 7N song, but with the 'Nach drumming and Jackie helping to sing it... well, it kicked some serious rear.

And last but not least- Colin posed for a picture with me.

And the band were kind enough to help me make some improvements to my targe!

Wish I could have been there. I haven't seen Kirk kilt up since 1997.

They'll be back at Estes in September. I really don't like the Longs Peak games- it's too crowded- but I didn't get Jamsie to sign my targe, so I guess I'll have to go. I'll probably spend a fair amount of time at the Clan Blair tent with my friend Leslie.

Travis, if you truely don't want to or can't go, I will be there and could always get him to sign it for you.

Actually, Greg, that post was a little on the tongue-in-cheek side- "Well, if I have to go see Albannach and Seven Nations... again... I guess I will..."

It's hard to justify missing Albannach and/or Brother.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…
