Re: Bagpipe Lessons
Pipers Dojo is about ready to start another online course if you can't find anything local. Nearly all pipe bands offer lessons to prospective members. That would be a good place to start.

Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

Re: Bagpipe Lessons
The pipe band route is good. My band offers free lessons. I also take private lessons over Skype and I'd highly recommend my teacher if you're interested in that.

Re: Bagpipe Lessons
Our own member here, Neil Clark, is what might be described as a "world class" player, ex-Scots Guards, and who has played in some of the finest Grade One bands in the world (Strathclyde Police and Shotts & Dykehead).
He offers online Skype lessons which would be tuition of a level not available to you locally. (Unless a piper with extensive Grade One experience lives in the Four Corners area.)
Here he is: www.GreatGlenPiping.com
Another great piper doing online lessons is Jori Chisolm. (Search him on YouTube and you'll hear what a fantastic player he is.)
