6 Nations Competition
The 6 Nations (that's Rugby) competition starts this weekend, including the Calcutta Cup (Scotland vs England). Two months of excellent sport .

Yes, and if I was a betting man, I'd probably put some coin on France's chances this year.
They have a good team (but a new manager) and it is one of those years where they have only two away games during the tournament.
It starts saturday. Great way to start with the Calcutta!

Have to agree about France although I think Wales might be the dark horse. French - Welsh Final?

Can't wait for the Ireland Wales match. This could be a real dandy.

It's usually a good tournament. The Frenchmen are all wanting revenge for the first match this year after their humiliating defeat by the Italians last year.
I'me having fun with the H cup this year. Toulouse scraped through the last round only to have to play Edinburgh in the next round. One of my coworkers is a big Toulose fan and I asked him if he wanted me to get him a kilt to celebrate (he wasn't happy!)![Laughing](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
It's difficult to prognostic the winners of the 6 nations, though. They were asking on French radio today if listeners thought that England wwould get the wooden spoon this year, and the majority said yes!

Doesn't surprise me that. It's quite intense rivalry between all sides in the 6 Nations. But let's face it, no one likes to see England do well... except the English.

As I am qualified to play for Wales by parentage, come on the boyo's from the valleys. The legend that is JPR once sat in front of me at the Millenium stadium. I missed most of the match as I was sat in awe of the man.

Tony, it's not England v Scotland, but Scotland v England. Scotland are playing at home.
I'll be watching all three matches live on TV. France/Italie followed by Scotland/England on Saturday and Ireland/Wales on Sunday.
