    I got a kilt!

At the St Louis Tartan Days a few weekends ago, I bought myself this black beauty.

I adore it and this is pretty much the first chance I've gotten to get pics.

Let me know what you think. I was toying with the idea of maybe putting some pyramid studs on it, but I'm not sure. I will probably just stick with the pyramid belt but I am open to suggestions.

    With Doc's

With sparkly heels for a different look....as long as it doesn't include walking or standing!

(I wasn't sure where this belonged, hope this is the right place)

Congratulations! Your kilt looks great and you look great. Love your Hamish pose. I wish I could do that.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

You never know until you try... now, you just need some glitter heels...

Good point. My heels didn't have glitter on them.

I would recommend against applying any pyramid studs to the kilt itself. The belt adds enough to the look without being "too much". Leaving the kilt plainer allows for different looks entirely, based on other accessories such as belt, kilt pin, top, etc. Less is more, so to speak.

Ah, ya beautiful lady, ya. That kilt needs no further adornment than what it contains.

If the heels aren't for standing or walking, then what in the world are they...oooh.

Yeah, my wife hates the heels, too. Sometimes. When she has to stand and/or walk in them.

That was kinda my thoughts too. As much as I'd like to stud up the cargo pockets which was the original idea, I'm not really sure I want to focus any extra attention on my hips

I am really happy with my belt buckle. It's one of those things that makes me really happy for no real reason other than I like it.

Well, I was thinking more along the lines of any time you might want a softer look (something more akin to floral), or something more "celtic" or traditional, and so on. Any accessories attempting to accomplish those would have to compete with the studs.
