`Heres Your Sign`
Earlier this week Lees Famous Chicken (KFC type place) had the grand opening of their new store in the Duncan Mall. Since I was feeling somewhat peckish I decided to check it out.
I was wearin a utility kilt & `Buddy` (raccoon full mask). As I was placin my order the lad at the counter said the fateful words, `Is it alive?". Luckily it was one of my more lucid days so I responded with, "Yes, of course it is." . I guess as I moved up to counter the head of the sporran got caught on the edge & "Buddy" looked like he was climbin up.

That's right. Not only are ye man enough to wear a skirt, but ye strap a live rodent to yer groin as well!

You know fair and well that the above statement is going to end up in a signature...
I've found that most relationships work best when no one wears pants.

Possibly, but alas raccoons are not rodents. They are in the Order Carnivora with other familiar hunters such as dogs, cats, and bears. Actually, raccoons are most closely related to the coati mundi, the kinkajou, and some other exotic mammals.
So to answer the question, yes, Buddy would LOVE some chicken, and would definitely see rodents as a spendid appetizer.

Buddy might like chicken... Ask Max (my cat) what happens when he tries to snitch curry off my plate.

Thanks, Mr. Science Guy!
I guess rodentia would include the beaver and muskrat; carnivora, most of the other favorites, like racoon, fox, and that local favorite Mephitis mephitis.
What order are the American marsupials again? We keep threatening to go there, but I don't think anyone has actually done it. There is an ample supply hereabouts.

I don't have photos, but I have definitely seen at least two "possum" sporrans. If I had a barrel of carbon tetrachloride (for degreasing the hide) I'd make one for sure!

Hmmm, you might want to post this comment in the following discussion thread about fur sporrans
http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=74185
because a live fur sporran has got to have some magic to it.

It must be quite shocking for some people not only to see a kilt if they haven't , but to see someone wearing such a type of sporran
