My New Miller Box Pleat Has Arrived!
After 9.5 months, my new baby (AKA Matt Newsome Box Pleated kilt) has arrived.
The Miller tartan is a 16oz custom weave from Dalgliesh.
It's a bit brighter and lighter than the digital image, so I've decided to call it the cheery kilt - perfect for its inaugural wearing in todays pouring rain.
So without further ado...

And the obligatory pleat shot.

Pardon the few wrinkles. I sat down to lunch after being out in the rain, and the wrinkles set in. I'll give it another proper steaming.
Ain't it grand?
It fits wonderfully and feels great. I love the lighter overall weight, and how the back feels more balanced with the front. (No extra heaviness pulling down at the butt. Very comfortable!
Thank you Matt!

Great looking tartan, you gotta be proud.
Last you were talking about a box pleat kilt was last August...tell me it didn't take 9 months to get it? That'd be a record jones for sure!

It was an exercise in restraint!

If I remember correctly (and if the photographic record is accurate) that's much nicer than the baby I waited 9.5 months to receive. No slime, and I'm guessing you didn't have to gnaw apart the basting stitches...![Sick](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/sick.gif)

Yep. The tartan is beautiful and you wear the kilt extremely well. Congratulations!

Happily, no slime for mine.

Fantastic! Now, you need to order another kilt for a self inflicted 9.5 month Jones!
