    Kilted WalMart Employees

I wonder how many WalMart employees, this morning steamed the pleats of their kilts before going to work?

Have you seen even one kilted WalMart employee? I never have, but I avoid the place as much as I can.

Only when I stand in front of the mirrow in my Walmart mens's room.

Actually, there have been three XMarkers who work kilted at their Walmart who have posted over the last few years.

Is this is a culture clash or what? Perhaps a mystic quest to go to the back of the store and buy a flash drive in electronics?
What a whoot... it took 3 years for my clients to get use to me wearing a tie to the medical practice where I work. The clients barely batted (sp) an eye when I wore my kilt the Friday after Halloween.
I wore my kilt to the Newport Aquarium in Newport Ky last week... I can make to the back of the store & out
I will challenge my fellow plaid & pleated to post pictures from the ..."back of the store". How many of us can do it in a month? glengerry optional

Management relaxed their dress code for December allowing Associates to wear Christmas attire. Also, today was my debut of my a new khaki kilt from Kilted Nation. I had purchased it from Brad who was a Vendor at the Central Virginia Celtic Game.

There are two side cargo pockets that are detachable. It has a snap system for the three kilt buckets; which gives you good waist adjustments. The material is soft to the touch and there is a substantial amount of it. It will keep me warn this winter.

Before I had entered the store, someone honked their horn in the parking lot and shouted, “Sir, I want your autograph”. To customers and children I gave a hearty; Ho, Ho, Ho, Merry Christmas! Many comments from the ladies both staff and customers are how festive I looked. One gal complimented me on my style and to keep it up.

I heard quite a few kids say, “Look Dad/Mom there is Santa”. I put on a “bear bell", we sale in Sporting Goods to have a jingle as I walked.

At the end of the day, I sat with Santa to get a few pointers.

December is going to be fun month!

You're a braver man than I am. Was in WalMarche' this afternoon kilted (RKilt green leather) and a buddy said he'd just had his photo with Santa and I should too....I declined...just couldn't bring my aging ego to do that again...

What is Wal-Mart celebrating today that would see their employees in kilts? An anniversary of sorts?

Well, today I did have my Malcolm tartan flashes on with my kaki kilt that conforms to the Walmart 'dress' policy.
