Off to the Fiare, back with New Toys

Here's me ready to take my new SWK Standard Blackwatch out for its first spin at the Bristol Renaissance Faire

My new toy purchased today at the faire.

Ok, I guess technically its not a sporran in the traditional sense, but it sure does the job nicely. Fell in love with it at first sight.

Nice! I was wondering what a fiare was... I make my living at fiares. You have helped an artisan maintain his livelyhood, and believe me, there are easier ways to make a living! You, sir, have purchased yourself a labor of love.

This being Celtic Weekend, the numbers of kilts were no doubt staggering. It was an interesting experience being someplace that was not highland related, and not being the oddest dressed there <G>. I was downright conservative in comparison LOL.

Good look, and nice find on the sporran. We have fond memories of the Bristol Renn Faire. Does Angus Harvey still have kilts and a booth there?

Yes, Angus was there. He had some very nicely constructed kilts in PV for sale there. And a nice range of tartans.

You look great! I went to the Bristol Faire kilted on Opening weekend. Perhaps we should have an XMarks meetup there sometime.
