I HAVE to wear a kilt to work!
Well, perhaps "have to" is a bit strong, but I am highly encouraged to wear one to work. ![Laughing](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
I'm working 3 days a week at a travel agency specializing in Ireland and Scotland. They not only like me to wear a kilt, but asked me to wear one as often as I'd like!
If nothing else, it inspires confidence in our walk-in clients. I had one today remark that I must like Scotland.
Right now I'm not wearing one every day as its just too hot and humid (and our building gets rather warm), but when the weather cools, I plan to wear a kilt daily.
Beats being "tolerated" as I was at my former job.

It is nice to hear that they encourage you to wear a Kilt.

Now to see if you can make your kilts and the various accoutrements tax deductible.

I've found Matt's 4-yard box pleats to be the most comfortable in the heat the last few weeks. But we're almost into the fall so pretty soon I'll be kilted daily.

Sadly, my accountant says its not . If I worked in a kilt shop or made my living piping, maybe, but not otherwise.

Good for you!!! I only hope that the traveling agency doesn't decide in the near future to specialize in Switzerland... otherwise you'll have to come to work in Lederhosen.

Might be if your employer writes into your contract that it's a required uniform.
