    Question Promotion Code for Stillwater

Anyone know where/how are there any promotion codes?

I'm thinking of getting one of their heavyweights and a code might clinch the decision.

I just bit the bullet and went ahead and ordered the heavy weight BW.

For $150 how can you get a lower price? It sounds like it's about a 13oz wool from other posts and about 6 yards for a 38" waist.

I plan on wearing it in cooler weather for the most part, so I'll be curious as to how heavy it actually is.
Should find out by about Wednesday.

    We'll see.

    Too Heavy??

I'm wondering if this thing is going to be too heavy for any season.

No, 13 oz will absolutely not be too heavy. Any lighter weight and the pleats wouldn't move properly. A 20 oz miltiary weight might be too hot for some areas in the summer, but not the one you are getting. Enjoy it and have fun wearing it.

Jerry was kind enough to send a quick note today,
he says it is a 16oz wool.

It's not the regimental 20oz, but is 16oz still pretty heavy? It seems folks are steering towards the lighter weight yardage of 4 to 5 yards.

I'll stick with the heavy weight, I think.
Sent Jerry a note to add socks and red flashes. It comes with the Tartan flashes, but a solid color would be good too.
