Know that the Higgins diced hose are straight, not shaped to the leg like traditional diced/tartan hose are. So, the pattern on Higgins hose is distorted/stretched at the calf.

Unfortunately, I pulled the trigger and ordered a pair of the Higgins diced hose before I saw your reply. They came in just today and the distortion is really extreme over the calf. The squares turn into stretched out diamonds. So its a total waste for me.
