New Walmart Offering - Harris Tweed
I'm surprised Ern (Mael Coluim) hasn't clued us in on this one.

They had three weave patterns: Speckled Blue/Grey, Speckled Brown and Grey Herringbone
Walmart kilts may be just around the corner.

Woven in Scotland, tailored in Bangladesh (hanger a product of China).

For that price, I can't imagine what tailoring methods were used. I wonder if there's a lot of fusable interfacing inside. And if the sleeves were sewn on, or glued on like many mass produced jackets.

Boy, you have some classy Wal-marts in Virginia.

I haven't stepped inside a Walmart in years, but if they had Harris tweed in my size at that price, I might. Even if the sleeves were stapled on.

I basically feel the same about Walmart. However, tomorrow I may end up driving by a Super Walmart here at the beach. I may just have to stop in for an investigatory stroll through the store. If I should see anything interesting (a'la tweed) I will grab a (cell phone) photo and post here.
And, if (bit "if" here) they should have a Harris Tweed jacket that fits me - I might have to whip out the plastic money and take one home.
