    I just pulled the trigger...

...on a USA Kilts Casual kilt in the Holyrood tartan!!!

    :-D

I want a wool one but I need something else to replace my acryllic kilt until then.

    Yay!!! Let the jonesing begin.

BTW, Will it come with any maintenance instructions? I haven't worn PV before but this kilt was highly recommended as an intemediate step up between acryllic and wool.

    I'm stoked!!!

Congratulations!! You won't be sorry. The only instructions I know of are don't have it dry cleaned as that will take off the protective coating that it has on it. My wife washes mine in the washer with the rest of my clothes and hangs it to dry. I can fish around and see if I still have any official instructions but it's been a couple of years since I've bought these.

Yes, they come with a care sheet which details the washing instructions. It's actually very simple:

Machine wash cold with like colors
    DO NOT use fabric softener
    Lay flat to dry

    Congratulations.

After a couple of washes, these gets very nice and soft to the touch.

Here's a photo with my husband wearing his Celtic Nations pv, taken at last year's St Louis Tartan Days festival.

    Excellent! Thank you, Rocky.

BTW, I usually lay things flat to fry them, too.

    I kid.

    ;-)

Thank you for sharing, TurboKittie! Your husband's kilt looks good.

    Congratulations!
I have the Holyrood tartan and it is one of my favorites. The PV is a great all-around tartan material for outdoor events or parties because you don't have to worry much about spilling something on it.
Finally, Rocky is super to deal with. I'm sure you will be pleased with the quality of the kilt.

A_Hay, it is a very lovely tartan. I've never had PV before but I hear nothing but good stuff about it.

Goodness gracious! Only one week into the jones and the sting is severe! We need a jonesing support group.
