I couldn't get the site to work without downloading software, which I'm not about to do.
Naturally, I am a lover of celtic music. I host a weekly celtic music radio broadcast which means I spend too much money of CD's

Any chance your show airs in the States?
If you mean downloading the Live365 player, you can choose to use your local player, WinAmp, MS Windows Player or Real Player to listen. it's really worth listening to.
But, and as with most sites like this, there is the 'pop up' hell to deal with unless you're a paid member. Otherwise it's free. If by chance anyone uses Mozilla as their browser, you can block pop up's at the browser level.
As well, celticradio.net was streaming some of the highest quality Celtic music around. However, due to licensing, they have reverted back Live365.

Hi Gray,
Here's where I get my Celtic music.
Every Friday evening, there's a co-op radio station in Vancouver that plays Celtic Music for 1 1/2 hours.
Our Kilts Night piper, Nathan, was lucky enough to go see natalie McMaster the other night.
Of course we have our monthly Kilts Nights with a live Celtic Band. That's always good to get the feet stomping. My favourite so far is Murphy's Lagh (pronounced 'Law"). They're two very talented guys with enough of the wild Irish in them to be contagious.
I hope to get them to walk with us in the Vancouver Celtic Festival Parade.
And I bought a 4 CD set of Irish music.

Oh stop it Bear, you're making me jealous!
We rarely get great artists in Australia, even less in tasmania.
I love Natalie McMaster, we've been featuring her album recently on the show.
(and No Ambrose, I regret we are a local FM station without the cash to go online)
We did get the Battlefield Band here a couple of years ago with the great John McCusker and Karine Polwart (whom I got to interview), so I can't complain.
I hear the Irish band Lunasa are coming here too this year, and I've just had an email from Niamh Parsons http://www.niamhparsons.com/ to say that she's coming over to perform in a major festival here.
I like the idea of a monthly kilts night, I'm going to pinch your idea and try it here!

I like that station. We listen to alot of Celtic music here at my home office. That is when we're not fighting our three year old daughter with the Deisney Channel.
Graham,
If you need Celtic music, I'll burn copies of cd's and mail them out for you.
Cheers,
Allen

Our local pbs station has its own Celtic music show
called Celtic Winds. It airs on Sundays from
1pm to 3pm Eastern Time (UTC/GMT -5 hours) and
you can listen on their web address:
www.wncw.org
They play a wide variety of Celtic music.
One of my favorite Celtic groups is the Glengarry Bhoys out of Glengarry, Ontario. I have seen them is
countless show and even went to Ireland with
them last Spring. I will put their link below:

My favorite Celtic internet radio station is
Celtic Grove. The only problem is they are so
popular it is difficult to get on their server at
times. You can also get a real time playlist too.

Thanks Allen for the offer, but I'm fine. I'm presently replacing cassette tapes of Silly Wizard that are nearly 20 years old with the CD versions. They are a band I like very much. I have a local supplier that has a good range of Silly Wizard www.celt.com.au

Hey Guys-
I am still here in PA right now. The Mid-Winter Festival just got done. We saw the Glengarry Bhoys, Hadrians Wall, Seven Nations, Rathkeltair (Neil Anderson's new band), Blackthorn, and a bunch of other great bands. This was one of the best music fests I have ever been to.
Hey Graham, Queen of Argyll is my fav Silly Wizard song!
