Question for the Rabble
My wife and I joined our local clan society last year at the Reno Celtic Celebration, we also attended our first Burns Dinner this past January. I have now jumped in with both feet to the society by taking the position of Membership Chairman. I've been tasked with recruiting members, that said I would like to recruit younger college age people to build a base membership for the future. I have asked my college age daughter what would interest people her age to come and check out the society and possibly join. I was just wondering if the Rabble has any ideas?

Sure Richrail, offer beer and food. You'll have more recruits than you'll now what to do with!

Beer, food, music festivals featuring Celtic-ROCK, like Dropkick Murphies, (not Lorena McKinnett-styled music), cool giveaways of a Celtic nature, whiskey tasting for your high-brow over 21s, Billy Connelly standup videos, the list goes on and on...

Richrail, look no further than your signature line. Ben was right. Works every time.
Oh, yeah, *** on all the other suggestions.

Have a family-oriented Clan event. Let the other parents in the clan help to get their children interested.
