    Question Tartan ID ?

So...here's a shot of me at Houston Comicpalooza with actor Frazer Hines, who played kilt wearing assistant Jamie McCrimmon on Doctor Who; What tartan is Frazer wearing?? Even though we talked about mine, I was remiss in not asking him about it.

Love the picture.....Not sure about the tartan, but the boots look like "Justin's" . Not sure I'd have the "b**ls" to wear them with a kilt, but I suppose they do make a statement, I'm just not sure of what!

just an English actor visiting Texas, with his sense of humor intact...

Thanks for the help with the ID, I knew I'd seen it before! Culloden Ancient is sort of appropriate, since his character on Doctor Who was a survivor of Culloden.

Right. This erroneous version was disseminated by D.C. Stewart. HOE and LC started weaving it as such.

Our very own Peter MacDonald has written an article about the tartan here: http://www.scottishtartans.co.uk/Culloden_Tartan.pdf

There was recently a custom-run of replica tartan. Pics here:
